Celtics Sweep Knicks In Series 1 Of The NBA Playoffs

The Boston Celtics finished off a sweep of the New York Knicks on Easter Sunday winning 101-89.

The game wasn’t very close with the Celtics leading by more than 20 a lot of the game.

The Knicks made a run towards the end but didn’t have enough in the tank to pull out a win in the end.

With the sweep the Celtics become the first team to advance to the 2nd round in this years NBA playoffs.

Boston looks like they could have a full week to rest before starting their 2nd round series against most likely the Miami Heat.

Kevin Garnett had 26 points and 10 rebounds in the game and Rondo chipped in 21 points.
